Providing tools before birth has proven to be effective in proactive parenting, building trust between support systems, and normalizing seeking support postpartum. Creating an environment for parents to explore what they desire out of their pregnancy and birth experience is an important portion in navigating maternal mental health and acknowledging the potential for trauma.

Participants receive lactation resource kits that include an interactive reference guide that honors maternal mental health and provides detailed instructions on how to prepare for lactation, how to ensure a successful latch, common issues, and how to choose and use an electric milk removal system. The kit also includes tools that help combat the discomfort of inflammation and engorgement that often happens when milk matures.

The postpartum pack aims to curb the possibility of postpartum depression by providing supplies specifically for the new parent.
